Vaccinations

- In the best interest of all our guests, it is necessary for your dog to have an up to date vaccination record. This must include the kennel cough vaccination.

- No cat or dog will be allowed to board with us without all their yearly vaccinations, including kennel cough for dogs being fully completed and up to date.

- All vaccinations must be fully completed at least 14 days prior to your dog's first day of boarding.

- We require veterinary proof of vaccinations so please do not forget to bring your veterinary vaccination card with you to avoid refusal.

Information about the Kennel Cough Vaccine

The more time your dog spends around other dogs (at the park, vets,  boarding kennels, on the street, pet shops etc.), the higher the risk of contracting kennel cough.  Kennel Cough is a respiratory disease and unfortunately dogs who are vaccinated can still pick up kennel cough as the vaccination does not cover all strains of the virus. Kennel cough is a highly contagious, but relatively mild infection that causes a dry hacking cough. Therefore we have a strict vaccination policy and a strict cleaning regime to help protect your pet and other guests. We will refuse entry to any pet that is not vaccinated correctly or you do not have veterinary proof of vaccinations.
